Celebrity Spotlight — Ashlan Gorse obsessed with Usana Sensé

Despite only one of us being a permanent fixture on celebrity-packed red carpets, Ashlan Gorse and I have a lot in common. We are both southern girls obsessed with fashion, celebrity culture, sweet tea, stilettos, and of course, Sensé.

Ashlan has worked on shows like Saturday Night Live, The Today Show,

and Access Hollywood, just to name a few, and since 2008 she has been interviewing A-list celebrities for E! News. Ashlan is candid, funny, and truly a nice person. I recently got her take on all things skin care and what makes her so beautiful — besides her awesome personality!

Inside Beauty: What is your can’t-live-without make up product? Ashlan: Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation ($68, Neiman Marcus). It’s 60% water and it’s lightweight but with enough coverage to make your skin flawless.

Inside Beauty: Do you eat/drink specific things to get glowing skin? Ashlan: I try to drink a lot of water. I have good days and bad days, but I always have a full reusable water bottle with me at all times. I can vouch for that! Drinking water always helps clear up my skin. Your skin is the largest organ and needs hydration to stay healthy. Remember gals — water, water, water.

Inside Beauty: What do you love most about your skin? Least? How do you fix it/cover it up/get over it? Ashlan: I grew up with horrible cystic acne and was on three rounds of Accutane when I was in high school. I still remember days of not wanting to go to school because my skin was so bad. But thankfully my skin cleared up and I am so lucky now because I hardly break out. Now my problem is more dryness and fine lines caused by dryness so I make sure to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize.
